Mental Wellness Service for Children
The project is to provide early intervention and psycho-social rehabilitation programme for children and youths with mentally and emotionally disturbance. The objectives of the service are providing early identification of mental illness, intervention and referral for treatment; enhancing these children and youngsters’ social functioning, personal growth and development and community integration; promoting public awareness and knowledge of children and youth mental health in the community. Target clients are children and youth aged between 6-18 who are having high risk or recovering from first episode of Psychosis / Depression / Anxiety Disorder. They usually idle at home, have difficulties in school adjustment or even have dropped out from school recently.
