Rehabilitation Services for Ostomates

The project aims at enhancing ostomates to fully rehabilitate and to develop an optimal level of psychological and social growth as well as advocating self-help spirit and building up supportive network among them. Services include hospital visits, orientation programmes, stoma care workshops, social-recreational activities, counselling service, social support groups and telephone enquiries, etc. Furthermore, ostomates are empowered to be volunteer leaders of the self-help group.
