Community Housing Movement - Set Up of the Intermediary

Community Housing Movement is a social movement fostered by the joint efforts of multiple stakeholders in society.  Its objective is to provide short term relief by way of transitional accommodation and support services to individuals or families with need of transitional housing, currently living in dismal, high rental or inadequate housing conditions, and low income and in urgent need for community support.  In addition to providing transitional accommodation, it also provides community-based support services and works with tenants to develop their capacity for living independently in the community and improve their livelihood.
