Community Based, Social, Educational and Developmental Support for SEN Students and their Family Members

The project aims to provide holistic support services to families with SEN students.  The community-based social, learning and transitional support programme will be conducted to facilitate the integration of pre-primary and primary SEN students into mainstream school settings.  In addition, parent education, empowering programmes and mutual-aid groups will be offered to parents and caretakers of SEN students to enhance their personal strength and coping capacity to overcome the challenges in the child rearing process.  Community stakeholders such as volunteers, sector professionals, corporate partners and community members will also be engaged in an effort to promote social inclusion and mutual understanding.
