“Be With You” Family Support Service for Children with SEN and their Carers

To relieve the stress among SEN children and their carers, to strengthen the parenting capacity of carers and to facilitate the building of positive family relationships are the main objectives of this Service.  Through different intervention strategies, the service team aims to cultivate an open, nonjudgmental and accepting carer-child space which promotes better awareness, understanding and compassion in addressing each other's needs.  Carers and children with SEN are strengthened with resilience to face upcoming daily life challenges together, eventually sustaining better family functioning in the long run.
