Dress Casual Day 2024
2024-09-17

The Community Chest Dress Casual Day, a popular fundraising event in town, will be held on Thursday, 31 October 2024. Under the theme “WEAR TO CARE”, Chest encourages the working population and students to demonstrate their caring spirit by putting on comfortable casual attire and raising funds for those in need in the community.

Singers Chau Yan Ting (YT) and Lee Ching Yee (Heidi) participate in this year’s promotional video and appeal to the public for support. Also, local illustrator hohohola added colour to the event by designing positive vibes promotional materials.

Anyone can participate in the event by donating $70 or more. Students can enrol through their schools, with no minimum donation amount. For a contribution of $200 or more, each donor/sponsor will receive a Dress Causal Day limited edition portable cutlery set while stocks last.

To learn more and enrol, please visit the Dress Casual Day webpage at www.commchest.org/en/event/DCD2024, or contact the Chest Office at  2599 6111. Latest information will also be announced on the Chest’s Facebook page and Instagram account.

All donations raised, without deduction of administrative costs, will be allocated to support the services provided by more than 160 social welfare member agencies of the Community Chest. Since its inception in 1993, Dress Casual Day has raised accumulatively over HK$540 million with more than 11 million participants.

The Chest is deeply grateful to Diamond Sponsors Hang Seng Bank and Nameson Group Limited, as well as Silver Sponsor Shanghai Commercial Bank Limited. Appreciation also goes to Harbour City, Times Square and Plaza Hollywood, and Media Partner Headline Daily, Jobsdb By SEEK, Sunday More and Weekend Weekly for their full support.
