The Community Chest New Territories Walk for Millions 2025 Combines Charity Walk, Fun Fair and New Sports Trials to Raise Funds for Family and Child Welfare Services

The Community Chest New Territories Walk for Millions 2025 took place today (16 February) at GO PARK Sai Sha, a brand new sports-and-commercial complex. Over 70 walk teams formed by companies and organisations and individual walkers participated to raise funds for family and child welfare services supported by the Chest. The Chest would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Bank of China (Hong Kong) for its full support, which enables the Chest to allocate all funds raised, without deduction of administrative expenses, to its 24 member agencies in providing family and child welfare services.

Mr Michael Wong, Deputy Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, graced the event as Guest of Honour. He was joined by Dr Simon Kwok, Executive Committee Chairman; Ms Diana Cesar, Campaign Committee Chairman of the Chest; Mr Wang Huabin, Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China (Hong Kong), representative of the event sponsor; Mr Raymond Kwok, Chairman & Managing Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties, representative of the venue sponsor; Chest’s officers including Mr Billy Kong, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee; Dr Dennis Sun, Co-chairman of Campaign Committee; Mr Adrian Li and Mr Adam Kwok, Members of Board of Directors; Ms Alice Yeung, Chairman of New Territories Walk for Millions Organising Committee and Co-chairmen Mr Peter Lam, Mr Lo Kwun-tin and Ms Maggie Hon; Mr Richard Hall, Managing Director of Citybus Limited; Mr Liu Chao, General Manager of Global Corporate Banking Department of Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Ms Priscilla To, Director of Home Affairs. 

The Chest expresses its sincere gratitude to GO PARK Sai Sha for venue support and Citybus Limited for sponsorship of shuttle bus services. In addition, the Chest is deeply grateful for the immense support of various government departments and uniformed groups.

Participants walked along a 1.5km Community Track, there were fun fair game booths for all participants and new sports trials for the VIP teams. Participants who completed the walk received a certificate of merit at the finish point.
