Service for Carers for Senior Citizens

The objective of the service is to enable the carers to perform the caring tasks more competently through services, such as, carer resources corner, hotline, respite and rehab-aid loan service; and to help relieve the stresses and strains of the carers through professional services, such as, support group, counselling, training courses, palliative care and volunteer service. In addition, it also aims to enhance mutual understanding and to strengthen supportive relationship among the carers, the elderly and other family members so as to promote the notion of a caring community and to advocate the rights of the carers and the elders.
