The project aims to enhance the holistic wellness of elderly people. Through active participation in the health education and programmes in developing self-care behaviours held in Neighbourhood Elderly Centres, the elderly are able to adopt the health self-management concept and develop their wellness in six dimensions, namely Physical, Social, Intellectual, Spiritual, Emotional and Occupational. The project also involves multidisciplinary paramedical professionals and fitness instructors to provide regular health assessment, training, educational programmes and consultation services to support the elderly to maintain a healthy lifestyle and improve their quality of life.
